For BV owners

Your BV bookkeeping,
sorted.

Your own BV (a Dutch private limited company) gives you tax room, and a pile of obligations: a payroll tax return for your salary as director-shareholder (in Dutch: DGA), keeping an eye on the work-related costs scheme, drawing up annual accounts, monitoring tax assessments. On top of the regular bookkeeping, which simply carries on.

mijnfinn takes the whole package off your hands. Day-to-day bookkeeping runs via WhatsApp: receipts and invoices are recognised automatically, put in the right category and booked to the right general ledger account, and a person checks everything. On top of that we prepare your payroll tax return every period, monitor your WKR allowance and close your financial year with complete annual accounts.

€189 per month, excluding VAT, fixed. No hourly rate, no separate accounting software needed. We know what we are talking about: the complete bookkeeping of mijnfinn B.V. (director's payroll, work-related costs scheme, year-end closing) runs on our own platform.

What a BV asks on top of a sole proprietorship

Anyone moving from a sole proprietorship to a BV notices that the bookkeeping does not change a little, it changes in kind. Three things appear that simply were not there before.

You are employed by your own BV. You pay yourself a salary, and that comes with payroll: a payroll tax return every period, even if nothing else happened. Forgetting is not an option, because the Dutch Tax Administration expects that return whether you remember it or not.

Your financial year has to be closed. Not with a quick overview but with annual accounts: a balance sheet and a profit and loss account that match what was booked all year. That work is a lot heavier afterwards if the books were not kept up along the way.

There are rules on what the BV may reimburse. The work-related costs scheme (WKR) determines how much you can reimburse or provide to yourself tax-free. That allowance is limited, and you want to know where you stand during the year, not after it.

We set your director’s salary together

The level of your salary is not an administrative form to fill in but a choice with tax consequences, and there are rules about what is customary. We calculate what an amount means and explain where the limits are; you decide. After that we process it every month and prepare the payroll tax return.

That is exactly the kind of question you do not call about when you pay by the hour. With a fixed price you do, and that is the point.

What we say no to

We deliberately take on a well-defined group, and it is fairer to say so upfront. Employees other than your own director’s salary we do not handle. Lots of cash revenue neither, and real estate neither.

A holding structure can work, but depends on the setup. Just ask; we would rather tell you upfront that it does not fit than halfway through.

For BV owners

With a BV too.

Your own BV (Dutch private limited company) brings more obligations: a director's salary, payroll tax returns, annual accounts. Same principle: you forward, we make sure it adds up.

Director's salary

We prepare the payroll for your salary as director-shareholder every period, including the payroll tax return and monitoring of the work-related costs scheme (WKR).

Annual accounts & closing

We draw up your annual accounts and close the financial year properly: depreciation, appropriation of profit, everything accounted for.

Tax assessments monitored

We keep track of tax assessments and deadlines for you, so nothing falls through the cracks.

We use it ourselves, every day: the complete bookkeeping of MijnFinn B.V. (director's payroll, work-related costs scheme, year-end closing) runs on our own platform.

How it works

Three steps, simply via WhatsApp.

Step 01

Forward it

That is all you need to do. No folders, no software.

Step 02

We process everything

We set up a digital vault for you where everything is kept, and we follow up in time on anything that is missing. So your books are always up to date and we can think along while the year is still running.

Step 03

Tax returns without stress

We prepare your VAT return every quarter and your income tax return every year. You only approve and file, with our step-by-step guide.
